Coal, Coke and CO2 Trading

Our business focuses on trading coal and coke around the world as well as CO2 allowances in Europe. Evonik Trading GmbH is part of Evonik’s Energy Business Area. As one of the market leaders in Germany, we supply power plants with the coal they need, both at home and abroad. Foundries and steelworks depend on our coke for their production. Other industrial operations also procure coal from us for their power stations. If you like, we can take care of the shipping up to the coal bunker, too. We buy and sell CO2 allowances within the framework of the European Emissions Trading System. Our customers are operators of power plants and industrial facilities that have a need for solid fuels.
